I need flat abs. I am definite you do, . In fact, everyone desires them and some individuals have been working to get flat abs for years and years — an endeavor which has caused over a small bit of frustration for most of us. Yet in spite of having failed to reach this aim for years, they persist in our quest for the ideal set of abs. Why? What is it that drives us? And is it even worth it?
The answer to the questions of why they continue to work towards getting abs is perhaps because of the belief that somewhere out there is the ideal exercise combination that will give us what they are looking for. They mistakenly think that if they keep doing abdominal exercises, they will soon succeed in flattening our abs and when they don’t get the desired result, they think it is because they are either not doing it right, or they need a different combination of exercises.

As to the query of what drives us to work this hard and for this long to get flat abs, the compulsion is primarily due to our inherent need to be admired and accepted by society. Indeed, it is a tragic reality that over half of those who work to get fit are doing it for aesthetic than health reasons.

The truth is, the road towards getting abs is paved with hard work and dedication. Getting fit and — more importantly — keeping fit takes over crunches and floor exercises. In order to get flat abs and keep it, you need to do four things: lose body overweight and build abdominal muscle. To accomplish these goals, one has to stick to a disciplined food intake and an exercise system that addresses not the abs, but the whole body. After all, if you are dreaming of brilliant abs, would not it be brilliant to get a brilliant body in lieu?
